Christmas Weirdness on I-490
December 26, 2005 – 8:59 AMYesterday, on Christmas Day proper, I almost got killed by the ChanukahMobile on 490 heading west out of the city.
It was a four-door sedan with an enormous menorah affixed to its roof, with a sign below where the candles went proclaiming “HAPPY CHANUKAH”. Needless to say, at 50+ mph, the candles were not lit. It bizarrely resembled a huge reindeer rack. The car looked quite top-heavy.
They nearly sideswiped me as they sped past. Then *they* blared their horn at *me*.
I couldn't make this shit up, man.
