I'd been playing with Mambo, but I think I like WordPress a whole lot more, and it does have the ability to use static pages so that you can have static content on your site. The blog/posting option could be used for news updates, which is what I have in mind.
Anybody done this, or seen any sites using WordPress where this was done? I eagerly await the deafening silence on my comments section.
