Stranger than fiction

So, I've been in my new apartment for about a month. This is what you need to know about my new place:

It's a beautiful studio in a 1920s NY-style building, right off Park Ave. Large main room, great hardwood floor, and a hallway with a regular-sized bathroom (deep tub), separate kitchen and dining area, and a walk-in closet. Facing the street, first floor, one block from everything, yet peaceful and beautiful.

The intercom system dials directly to my cell phone, and I can buzz people in with my phone. The antique early-1900s intercom is still mounted in my hallway — earpiece, bells, and all. I have air-conditioning. I have a new pillowtop bed. I even have a sofa on loan from Keith. This place is comfy.

In the corner of my main room, behind my bed, on the north wall, if you move the bed out …. I have a portal to John Malkovich.

Yes. You read that correctly.

No. I'm not joking.

But I'm pretty sure this is something I should NOT share with my therapist.
