We've all seen these verification requests to type in the letters/numbers displayed in a graphic, when you're filling out a form. This is a valid and good idea. It prevents spambots, which are scum that deserve to have their testicles ripped off. However, while signing up for a Flickr account, I was required to decode the following heiroglyphics. See if you know what these letters/numbers? are supposed to be:
Not surprisingly, my best guess was WRONG. They presented me with a second chance, and I didn't know if I should be surprised or unsurprised that this one was even more inscrutable than the first.


After my third failure, they finally presented me with capitalized block letters … I was never so happy to have something dumbed down.
